A distinctive logo was required for Scottish PC and network repair/installation company Netwise. A full colour design represents the diverse nature of the company and the 'cube within a cube' mark reflects the intricate nature of the work carried out by Netwise. Allan McKinlay – This is New Album Artwork and Posters

This was a fun project to work on. Allan approached me looking for some unique artwork for his sophomore release This is New. The result was a colourful, vector-based illustration which was carried across a six-page album booklet, screen printed CD and accompanying launch night posters. Crossrhythms Magazine complimented the artwork in a review of the album saying "...the cover art design by Michael Clayton is fantastic".

Heckacool Logo

A personal logo design project using a vector illustration of an ice lolly and a modern typeface. A friend of mine in California uses this phrase all the time and I thought it would be fun to incorporate it into a logo. This logo is for sale so If you like it, get in contact with me and we can talk about using it for your project.

Executive Rockstar Logo

This was a logo design proposal for a business training company. In the end, the client didn't go with this design but I really like it. The juxtaposition of the formality of the shirt, tie and small-caps serif typeface together with the hint of something a little different make for a neat little mark.

End of Generic Business Cards

Designing for yourself, especially when it comes to identity can be tough! I ended up with what you see here and I'm happy how they turned out. Printed using two spot colours onto heavy board with the added extra touches of rounded corners and matt varnishing gives these cards a solid, expensive-looking finish that feel great in your hand.

Stereofire Identity and Website

Website designed for UK-based music site/blog Stereofire. After creating the logotype, I was asked to design the website in a dark, grungy style with a muted colour palette. Everything from the vintage-styled header banner to a custom RSS icon was designed from scratch.
